OOTD ~ The Stevie Nicks Wannabe Dress...

By Lucy Harbron - 18:04

Dress- Age UK
Boots- Garage Shoes

We all know that I love charity shopping (read my post about it HERE) but I love charity shopping waaaaaay more when I stumble upon glorious things such as this dress.

I honestly don't believe there is any dress more perfect for me than this- it's black, it has a wide open neckline which I always love, it has pretty embroidered flowers, and it's floaty and boho so it makes me feel like Stevie Nicks. I also love the slightly flared sleeves. If you add all these things to the fact that the dress fit me perfectly (although I do wear shorts under, just in case) I think I may have found a dream.

Dress as above
Sandals- New Look
The interesting shape and beautiful detailing of lace and embroidery makes this dress so easy to style. During the day I paired it with my New Look sandals and kept my hair natural for a more casual look.

Hoop Earings- Topshop
Stud- Piercing shop
(yep lucy got a new piercing!)
On the night I went out to a gig to see some local bands and all i did to move from a day look to a night look was swap my sandals for heeled Chelsea boots to add some more high as well as contrasting the floaty dress with a heavier element. I also curly my hair and put half of it up in a top knot, and added a bit of bronze eye shadow to darken my make-up slightly. EASY! And I think you could easily make this look more formal for a party or whatever by swapping out the shoes and adding more make-up. Such an easy-going piece both to style and to wear.

So perfect and only £3.99!
