SO!
Sorry it's been a while I've been super busy. I'm so happy to be freeee finally and I've been making the most of it! The weather has been so insanely good the past week so I've been outside a lot. However, my friend Chloe came over to help me achieve my hair dreams!
Since I now have no school and next year there are no rules regarding hair colour, I wanted to go a bit crazy and change up my hair. So I decided to bleach the ends of my hair to make it easier to dip dye, so I did!
For about a week before this I'd been using this loreal sunkiss jelly on the ends of my hair to lighten it up slightly and honestly it works! This stuff gave me a subtle ombre, and for my sister (who used it all over her blonde hair) it made her hair way way lighter. So I'd recommend this!
This was the state my hair was at before chloe worked her magic. I had a natural ombre but the ends weren't light enough to dye easily.
This is all the ingredients chloe brought with her, I guess you could call it her toolkit! We had bleach powder, a conditioning developer, a comb (we didn't use this), a bowl to mix all the stuff in and a brush to apply the bleach.
The ratio of bleach to developer varies on each make so if you're thinking of bleach your hair make sure you read your own instructions. We used 50ml of bleach to 60ml of developer and mixed it all up and then got down to business!
Chloe is a hair genius! She applied the bleach to create a gradient on my hair keeping it looking ombred while blending it so it looked natural and there were no weird lines (no body wants dat!) Make sure you wear some gloves when you bleach hair, because this stuff does irritate skin so you have to be super careful and make sure you don't mind ruining the clothes you're wearing as well!
We left the bleach on for about half an hour, making sure to check it every 5/10 minutes. At one point I did totally panic as my hair was going green, but chloe just explain that as the colour of your hair lifts out sometimes it can look weird colour but it calms down, phewwwww.
After the 30 minutes I washed the bleach out thoroughly and shampooed my hair before applying a conditioning mask to the ends of my hair. Bleach damages your hair so it's important to condition and care for it.

We left the hair mask on for 15 minutes, in this time me and chlo got some popcorn and started watching clueless cos we cool. A moment of appreciation for Chloe's hair. All by herself she managed to get her hair to go from dark brown to bleach blonde, then used bleach London's "the big pink" and "awkward peach" to get the cutest pinky/peach hair while keeping it super health! BABE
TA DAAAAA! The result was bleach blonde ends, but still a lovely ombre. Now im free to dip dye my hair with ease so watch out world, im coming for ya with my rainbow hair! Big thank you to chloe for making my hair rad, I love ya!
What changes are you making or do you want to make over summer?
Hope you have a lovely lovely day

Changing your hair color is one of the best ways to broadcast your spontaneity. Your hair can be blonde for a whole year, brunette the next and redhead the next. It's definitely fun to mix it up once in a while, right? Just remember to practice it with caution, Lucy. Thanks for sharing that! All the best to you! :)
